Meet us at AMTA 2022 in Denver – Colorado

DMAS will be present as an exhibitor at the annual Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) symposium in Denver. Come visit us at booth 208 to learn more about the benefits of polystyrene absorber technology.

We are heading to the ‘mile high city’ of Denver, Colorado to participate in the 44th annual meeting of the AMTA. This symposium is devoted to the development of theory and best practices for antenna, radar signature and other measurement technologies. The event plays host to a large number of exhibitors and prominent minds in the aforementioned fields and were are looking forward to joining them October 9 through 14.

NEW ADDITIONS TO OUR POLYSTYRENE ABSORBER LINEUP

The last time DMAS was at the AMTA, back in 2017, we introduced our MT45-JT (18”) microwave absorber series.  The MT45 is a javelin tipped, closed cell polystyrene (EPS) absorber that is used by customers around the world on account of its excellent performance, long product life and 25-year warranty.

This year, DMAS returns to the AMTA to introduce the latest members of the JT family: the MT65-JT (26”) and MT30-JT (12”) absorbers. Like the MT45, their superior durability, excellent performance and straightforward (adhesive-free) installation will make these latest DMAS absorbers a great choice for an ever-greater number of facilities.

In addition, there are other new products currently in development, be sure to ask us about them if you run into us at the AMTA.

WHY POLYSTYRENE?

Thanks to advancements in material composition and an altered pyramid design (shape), DMAS polystyrene absorbers offer excellent performance that is stable over time. Combined with their eco-friendly and modular nature, this makes the DMAS absorber a prime choice for the majority of antenna test facilities. DMAS polystyrene absorbers do not leak carbon particles thanks to their closed cell material properties. Furthermore, no harmful chemicals are used during production and our products comply with international fire-retardant standards.

Other feature & benefits include:

  • Closed cell material (no leaking particles)
  • Lightweight and rigid product design (no drooping tips)
  • Uniform carbon cell loading (stable performance)
  • Installed using hard plastic mounting strips (adhesive-free installations)
  • Certified for use in clean rooms
  • Compliant with fire retardant standards ISO 11925-2 class E / UL94-HBF / DIN4102-1 class B2
  • Resilience to humidity (non-hygroscopic)
  • Removable design consisting of baseplate & pyramids (easily replace damaged pyramids)
