Hot on the heels of the successful introduction of the MT45-JT and MT65-JT, DMAS is launching its latest absorber: the MT30-JT. Like the other absorbers in the MT family, the MT30-JT benefits from next generation materials and production methods pioneered by DMAS. This allows the polystyrene MT30-JT to feature industry beating performance in a compact and extremely durable package. Key applications: OTA chambers and antenna test ranges for both near and far field testing.
The MT30-JT operates in frequencies ranging from 400MHz all the way up to 50GHz with a typical reflectivity of -20dB or better. This makes our latest absorber a great choice for engineers who are looking for a cost effective solution for OTA test chambers and antenna test ranges. In fact, the strong reflectivity and easy installation method give the MT30-JT a significant performance surplus, making the absorber user-friendly, more accessible and perfect for use in – for instance – DIY testing solutions that are assembled on-site by facility personnel.
Like our other RF absorbers, the MT30-JT is made using polystyrene (EPS). This gives it a number of advantages over traditional foam counterparts. For one, EPS gives the absorber incredible lightness, rigidity and resistance to humidity meaning performance will not degrade over the years. In addition, it has a closed-cell structure making leakage of carbon particles a thing of the past and keeping your lab clean a lot easier.
